Swam the width(back and forth) of River Thames (Runneymede) - 08/07/2017 Everytime I'm by the river I am not certain if I can swim or enter it, but I so wanted to last year a s.african work college a pro in open water swimming motivated me and Aadya and we splashed in the river thames at laleham, but I would have hardly swam 10-15 mtrs, just seeing a green leafy, fishy, muddy bottomless river scared the s**t out of me. It has been a hot british summer this year earlier this morning during my run with Aadya we checked the river water and it felt a good temperature to be in, later we packed our bags in our costumes drove to the runnymede park as it has parking, toilets and a coffee shop for mummy :-) ..many ... kids and dogs were splashing in the river, we did too. Saw lots of fishes, dragon flies and lots more fishes..boats passing by but i was not sure about swimming, did try a bit but we just kept on playing splashing each other.
